How NMN works, and what the trials measured
Your body recycles NAD+ continuously through what is called the salvage pathway. NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) is the immediate precursor in that pathway, so your cells convert it into NAD+ in a single step. That single conversion step is why it is the form Yoshino and colleagues used.
The best-known human trial is Yoshino and colleagues (Science, 2021). Twenty-five postmenopausal women with prediabetes took 250mg of NMN daily for ten weeks, and muscle insulin sensitivity improved by roughly 25%. That trial used 250mg a day; our capsule is 500mg.

Common Questions
Should I take NMN, NAD+, or both?
Taking both supplies the coenzyme directly and gives the cell the material to keep rebuilding it on its own schedule. That is a different thing from taking twice as much of either one, and it is the reasoning behind the Longevity Stack.
What time of day should I take NMN?
Morning is the common recommendation, on the reasoning that NAD+ metabolism follows a daily rhythm. One capsule daily.
Is NMN safe long-term?
NMN was well tolerated across the ten-week Yoshino trial (Science, 2021), with no adverse effects reported. As with any supplement, if you take prescription medication, or are pregnant or nursing, speak to your doctor first.
