Why we put turmeric, omega-3 and magnesium in one box
The Vital Co. · 4-minute read
Turmeric, fish oil and magnesium are often bought one at a time, from three different brands, at three different strengths. Here is why we put them in one box — what each one actually contains, how to take them, and who should skip it.

1. Most turmeric isn't built for absorption. This one is.

Curcuminoids — the compounds turmeric is taken for — are poorly absorbed on their own. Platinum Turmeric doesn't rely on root powder alone: it adds 100mg of extract standardised to 95% curcuminoids alongside 800mg of turmeric root, plus 10mg of BioPerine® (black pepper extract), which has been studied for its effect on curcumin absorption (Shoba and colleagues, Planta Medica, 1998).
It also carries boswellia, ginger root extract, glucosamine and chondroitin — botanicals and joint-matrix compounds traditionally used alongside turmeric. Take it with a meal that contains fat; curcuminoids are fat-soluble.
2. One softgel of omega-3 is several times what most adults eat in a day.

EPA and DHA are the long-chain omega-3s the body uses directly, and they come mainly from oily fish. Papanikolaou and colleagues (Nutrition Journal, 2014) put average US adult intake from food at 23mg of EPA and 63mg of DHA a day.
Each Vital Omega-3 softgel delivers 180mg EPA and 120mg DHA — 300mg combined, from molecularly distilled fish oil concentrate. 100 softgels per bottle.
3. Magnesium is a helper for 300+ enzymes — and a full dose doesn't fit in one capsule.

Magnesium is a cofactor in more than 300 enzyme systems (NIH Office of Dietary Supplements) — nerve signalling, muscle relaxation, turning food into energy. We bind it to glycine, an amino acid, rather than an inorganic salt.
Here is the catch: magnesium is only about a tenth of magnesium glycinate by weight. So a real dose — 275mg of elemental magnesium, 65% of the Daily Value — takes 2,500mg of compound. That's three capsules, not one. We'd rather give you the whole amount. Many people take it in the evening.
4. Three different pathways, one simple routine.
These three don't overlap — curcuminoids, marine omega-3s and magnesium each do a different job, which is why we pair them. The routine is two moments a day:
With a meal containing fat: 2 Platinum Turmeric capsules + 1 Omega-3 softgel
Evening (with or without food): 3 Magnesium Glycinate capsules
Each formula ships as its own bottle with its full Supplement Facts panel, so you always know exactly what you're taking.
5. It costs less than buying them separately — and it's guaranteed.
Bought separately: $84.70
$72.90 for all three
You save $11.80. The saving is built into the price — no code needed.
Free standard US shipping.
30-day satisfaction guarantee. If it isn't right for you, email us within 30 days of delivery and we refund you. You don't need to ship anything back. (Covers your first purchase of each product; original shipping isn't refunded on change-of-mind.)
…and one reason to skip it.
Shellfish or fish allergy? This stack isn't for you. Platinum Turmeric contains shellfish (crab, lobster and crawfish) from its glucosamine and chondroitin, and Omega-3 contains fish.
Taking a blood thinner? Check with your doctor first — that applies to turmeric and to fish oil.
We'd rather lose the sale than have you find that out after it arrives.
